Great utensil jars in buff glazed stoneware made by Emily Siddell and Mark Goody at their Auckland pottery studio. Each vessel is unique in size, colour and shape. The wild clay is dug from Emily's bach at Kuaotunu in the Coromandel, as well as the varied shape and size further emphasising the handmade nature, giving the pots an organic feel. The finish varies depending on the use of glaze and where they were positioned in the kiln, meaning each pot is completely unique. These latest pieces are diesel fired - the darker glaze with light interior - and electric fired - the matte white finish.
NOTE The group image shows the three varying glazes from this latest firing. If you have a glaze preference please leave us a note in your order and we will do our best to match.
